Kuroko is the name given to the stage hands of traditional Japanese theater. Kuroko dressed all in black to signify to the audience they were meant to be invisible; their job was to move props, clear the stage, and manipulate the scene. Without them, the actors could not act, and the audience could not enjoy the show.

Digital Kuroko is an examination of the electronic entertainment industry's own kuroko: the behind-the-scenes people who develop, create, and influence (or are influenced by) games. Behind every great environment is an artist spending countless hours making it believable. Behind every great gameplay mechanic lies a programmer and animator working to ensure the player is having fun.

Digital Kuroko will feature no reviews or previews; it's not that kind of site. You will only see feature articles, interviews, and analysis on interesting stories and interesting people from around the industry.
